Ku Nan puzzled why BN can't win 'mini Malaysia' Bandar Tun Razak

BN secretary-general Tengku Adnan Mansor cannot figure out why the ruling coalition cannot wrest the Bandar Tun Razak constituency from the opposition, despite its many efforts to assist residents there.
"I don't know how BN can lose Bandar Tun Razak twice. Bandar Tun Razak is a reflection of Malaysia - it has about equal number of Malays, Chinese and Indians constituents, although now there is slightly more Malays. I just don't understand why," he lamented during a carnival in the Kuala Lumpur constituency today.
The federal territories minister said the BN government has fulfilled the wishes of the parliamentary constituencies' voters and yet are unable to convince them to vote BN.
"What are the government's faults? You want houses, we give houses; you want roads, we give roads; you want a school, we give you a school; and we even give a free bus to send children to school and we ask for nothing in return because we know how difficult life is now.
"We even help the Kuala Lumpur City Hall by more than RM13 million (so it can assist residents here). So I don't know what else we to do," he said.
The Putrajaya MP said that if it was up to him, he would rather not assist the constituency any longer since there have not been any returns.
However, he said, he will not do so because he has been educated by Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak to continue helping the people even if they do not vote for BN.
"So I am appealing to all that please help us out during the next general election. Remember BN's deeds and vote for BN," he said.
Bandar Tun Razak is held by now Independent MP Abdul Khalid Ibrahim.
Abdul Khalid quit PKR after ousted as Selangor Menteri Besar in 2014.
He won the constituency by 11,832 votes against MCA's Tan Kok Eng who secured a commendable 32,235 votes, and two other independent candidates who lost their deposits.

In contrast, Tengku Adnan won his Putrajaya seat after garnering 9,943 votes in a straight fight against Husam Musa (4,402 votes).
The constituency of Bandar Tun Razak has 90,993 voters, of which 53 percent are Malay, 37 percent Chinese while nine percent are Indian.
A total 78,147 Bandar Tun Razak constituents turned up to vote in the 2013 general election.- Mkini
