A man harassing a female DBKL enforcement officer gets his comeuppance when he turns aggressive and forces a kiss on her lips.
PETALING JAYA: Stealing a kiss may seem innocent enough, but when it is seen as outraging the modesty of a woman, there is bound to be a reaction to such an action.
That is what a man discovered painfully when a crowd of people saw him aggresively handle a female Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) enforcement officer and gave him a beating, Harian Metro reported.
The incident occurred in Jalan Gading, off Jalan Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur on Wednesday afternoon.
The 27-year-old DBKL officer was trying to issue a parking summons to a car that was illegally parked, when the man, who was said to be loitering around the area, tried to get close.
“He was disturbing her, complimenting her by saying she was beautiful.
“It got worse when he blocked her view of the car she was trying to photograph. So she ordered him to get away from her,” DBKL assistant commissioner Mohd Sukri Kaman told Harian Metro.
It was then that the man turned aggressive, holding the enforcement officer’s face with both hands and kissing her on the lips, the report said.
The man, reportedly aged 35, was then set upon by members of the public who reacted to her screams. -FMT
