Khalid told pro-moderation group G25, which criticised the trial project that seeks to place two police officers and a lower ranking sergeant in the religious department, to look at the bigger picture.
“They do not understand. They should not be narrow-minded and look at things from a wider scope.
“It is not about [policing] morality. We also want to monitor any religious deviation that has been happening in our country,” he said during a press conference at the general operations force headquarters here today.
