God and Zahid’s slanderous noisy minority

YOURSAY | ‘Malaysia is like a student that has to perpetually re-sit his grade.’
Turvy: Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, all very nice to say that the slanderous noisy minority are bound for hell, but you are the DPM in a cabinet that cannot provide a reasonable explanation as to how a large sum of money came to be deposited in the PM's account.
Don’t you think that this matter alone overrides everything else that troubles you. Or do you think that it is a only a trivial matter that we need not bother with?
Say something that will restore our confidence instead of chiding us for raising questions.
The National Registration Department (NRD) is providing a good service. Well done. Everyone appreciates it. Now please make all others perform as well, including the cabinet.
Lamborghini: The qualities that are pleasing to Almighty God are that He hates pride and arrogance but honors the humble.
He hates corruption but honors the honest man. He hates injustice, but honors the just man. He hates evil and wickedness but honors the righteous man.
So Zahid, before you want to teach others about heaven and hell, judge yourself and see whether you will be hated or honoured by God. And please don't misuse and abuse the sacred name of Almighty God.
Existential Turd: You know what they say about keeping one's mouth shut - it is better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubts.
If the DPM thinks someone has slandered him unjustly, he can always sue their pants off. No need to wait until the afterlife. That is, if he can distinguish the difference between slander and ridicule.
Foreigners come here to see for themselves how not to run a country. Those countries that used to learn from us, are already more developed than us.
Malaysia is like a student that has to perpetually re-sit his grade. This is nothing to be proud of.
P Dev Anand Pillai: As one talks about being a victim of slander, has one ever thought about the poor gentleman who is languishing in prison for the second time for the same 'trumped up' charge?
Isn't he too a victim of slander? How does it feel now? If you want a mention of 'thanks and appreciation' from the people of Malaysia for the work that your departments do, then they would have to earn it.
Stop the corruption and start helping the people without asking for anything in return. You ask for those who slander to open their hearts, how about the government takes the lead by opening theirs first?
LifeFlier: Zahid, people criticise you and government because you all have brought shame to this country.
There are too many examples for us to list here and you can go and figure them out yourself. If you still need help, ask your Special Branch to open all the files on 1MDB, MH17, MH370, kingpin Paul Phua to rekindle your memory.
Do you think laymen have so much free time to criticise government?
Derock: Zahid, the people who will go to hell will not just be the minority that slander others, but should include:
1. Those that called the Chinese "Cina babi".
2. Those who accused the Malaysian Chinese population of being racist.
3. Those that raised the keris and threatened to soak it with Chinese blood.
4. Those who stepped on the cow's head in anti-Hindu temple protest.
5. Those who accused Bersih of trying to topple the government.
6. Those who are corrupt and those who support corruption.
Please do update your list, as I believe God is against all the points I mentioned. When out of ideas and unable to carry on an argument with integrity, the solution is to pretend to play God.
But there is only one God, and we are not him. It makes one shudder to think someone like you could end up leading a country by default.
Negarawan: I struggle to find any hint of intellectualism in this man who claims he has a PhD.
He can't even construct a simple English sentence correctly. He always speaks in a crude manner and has no natural charisma. It is extremely unfortunate for the country to have such a person as a DPM.
Anonymous 122461436161429P: A DPM talking like this? What an embarrassing speech.
How to run a country when civil servants are being given religious sermons about the devil, heaven and hell and not how they must be hard working and practice good and honest governance?
Why does Umno keep involving religion in governance? The answer is simple.
They have run out of ideas. They have lost all trust. When all else fails - and they have failed - quote God and frighten the heebee-jeebies out of the deaf, dumb and blind flock and hope for the best. -Mkini
