GEORGE TOWN - The first panda born on Malaysian soil could not have picked a better date of birth.
According to feng shui masters, Tuesday was governed by the fire element and it was most auspicious.
"The Chinese almanac shows that the baby panda's birthday was both fortuitous and auspicious," said feng shui master Prof Joe Choo.
He also predicted that the cub would herald in a new era that would be positive for the country.
Fellow geomancy expert David Koh noted that the time of its birth, 1.45pm, pointed towards the realm of kings.
"If this panda was human, I would predict that the little fellow is born lucky and will be treated like royalty," he said.
Koh said the panda cub would bring change to the country.
"If it were a male, this cub could bring nationwide change within this year.
"If female, the effect will be slower but stronger and could happened in early 2017," Koh said. - ANN
