It is for Class 1 vehicle users paying toll electronically on the off peak days.
KUALA LUMPUR: PLUS Malaysia Berhad (PLUS) is offering a toll rebate of up to 50% to highway users who pay toll electronically, starting from July 13 in conjunction with Hari Raya celebrations.
PLUS managing director Noorizah Abd Hamid said the toll rebate would be offered to Class 1 vehicle users paying toll electronically on the off peak days of July 13, 14, 15, 21, 22 and 23.
“The offer will be enjoyed by those travelling more than 100km on the days mentioned,” she said in a statement today.
She said the 50% rebate would only be offered on July 13 and 23, while on July 14 and 22, the public would enjoy a rebate of 40%.
A 30% toll rebate would be given to the public on July 15 and 21.
“The toll rebate is one of PLUS strategies in dispersing traffic and encouraging people to go back to their hometowns before Hari Raya Aidilfitri and return to the city after the celebrations,” she said.
She added that PLUS would issue a Travel Time Advisory (TTA) schedule to help the public enjoy a smoother ride during the festive season.
