MP says Amanah Raya suffering cashflow problems after giving RM2B 'IOU' Loan to 1MDB !!

This is cut and pasted from Free Malaysia Today here :

My comments :  It is a question of 'tutup lubang'. A huge lubang.

Pinjam RM42B. (Now with other pinjam, interest etc it has become more than RM42B.)

Bought assets worth RM15B or so.

Baki RM27B pi mana?

The balance RM27B has gone out the window.

I think it is stolen. Gone forever.

Talk is the Prime Minister called Tong Kooi Ong (owner of The Edge) and asked him personally why The Edge is so critical of 1MDB. Tong showed him the facts and the numbers and asked 'Where is the RM20B' ? Tong's figure is RM20B. It has gone missing. The PM could not answer Tong. (This is what I was told).

Now the interest portions and all the bonds etc on the RM42B are falling due. Very fast. A sizeable portion is guaranteed by the gomen, against Letter of Support from gomen etc.

So gomen has to carry the baby.

That means the GLCs that have money will be told to fork out money to help tutup the lubang. I wrote that this would happen a loooong time tago.

KWAP has given an RM4B loan to SRC International when it was a subsidiary of 1MDB. Duit RM4B sudah hilang.

When is that RM4B loan due? Will KWAP ever get that money back? Now SRC Int'l has been "transferred" back to the MoF.

Tabung Haji has bought a piece of land for RM194m.   Tun Dr Mahathir says TH has now sold the land for a loss.

Now this revelation that Amanah Raya has given an RM2B loan to 1MDB. And Amanah Raya pula is now facing cashflow problems.

Amanah Raya had reserves of RM2.6B. Now they are facing cashflow issues says the Member of Parliament quoted by Free Malaysia Today in the report above.

When will this nightmare stop?

Since the issue of 1MDB exploded early this year, the silence by the Malaysian Anti Corruption Agency headed by Tan Sri Abu Kassim is too deafening.

Plus the silence by all the Advisory Boards and the Advisory Panels is also deafening.

To all my friends, the Tan Sris, Datos, Tuan2 & Puan2, a time must come when we have to stand up and be counted. We must be serious about real issues.

Otherwise we remain Kipling's children.
