The advice apparently comes from Umno at a time when the public's anger towards the Familia Myvi Club is at an all-time high.
KUALA LUMPUR: Members of the Familia Myvi Club (FMC) were cautioned by Umno on their official Facebook page to remove their club’s sticker from their cars for safety reasons.
“Following UMNO’s willingness to offer advice to us, we have unanimously decided to instruct our members to remove our club’s sticker for our own safety as well as for our vehicle’s,” said a Facebook user simply known as Yana.
The statement could not be verified as the (FMC) account appears to have been deactivated.
Yana allegedly replied to the barrage of criticism by giving out the victim’s younger brother’s Maybank account number according to Malaysian Digest.
“There is no use for all of you to condemn us with a keyboard. What do you get? Nothing. 164799190478 Maybank Muhammad Faizznur Asyraf Husain. Here, why don’t you break the keyboard and donate to the victim’s family instead,” she allegedly posted.
The user thanked Umno for their assistance and advice.
The members of FMC have suffered public wrath after several Perodua Myvi cars believed to be members of the FMC caused an accident that resulted in the deaths of a couple and their infant daughter on the Duke highway.
FMT discovered several Facebook pages viz. Familia MurderMyvi Club – FMC, FMC – Familia MyVi Club – Justice and Memburu Familia MyVi Club FMC that appear to seek justice for the orphaned children.
