Malaysia will bloom after Najib goes

It's now all between the rakyat and the ruling leaders, after Muhyiddin chickens out

We know with certainty that Najib’s claim of enjoying the support of the people is not true, and what the facade of support is made up of. A crowd of four thousand in Tawau last week was inflated to forty thousand, and even then the four thousand were mostly Indonesian workers from the plantations around Tawau.
The MP for Kalabakan apparently was provided with financial support to assemble as many people as possible to stand in front of PM Najib to clap and scream in support after every word from Najib’s mouth. The support was faked and stage-managed for the purpose of media publicity. Those who came for the rally were paid and of course the money originated from Putrajaya.
Back in Kuala Lumpur, Najib has been “forcing” Cabinet members and opportunistic MPs to be seen to be with him, to give out the public  impression that he enjoys the support of the people. Initially Muhyiddin was seen to be drifting away from Najib and was apparently ready to lead many Cabinet Ministers to jump off the PM’s sinking ship, but chickened out after a four-eyes meeting with the distressed PM before the Supreme Council meeting few days ago.
What transpired or was transacted between them in their discussions is somewhat easy to guess: Muhyiddin, too, already carries heavy-enough baggage, what more any additional burden. He now has no other choice but to swim or to float with the flow like a dead fish.
As an adage goes, the good is for the good while the bad will go for the bad: that was the actual reason for Muhyiddin to chicken out along with the rest of the confused leaders with him. The divide now is between the rakyat and the ruling leaders, in particular Najib.
The Kit Siangs and the Hadis as well as the Anwars and the disillusioned Malays, Kadazans, Dayaks and others all want to show Najib the exit door. Every ordinary man and woman want Najib to go if possible instantaneously. He should take this opportunity to live in repentance ever after.
Najib’s retirement would be a priceless gift for each and every Malaysian. How could it not be so? It would help the country to be reborn as a vibrant nation led by an astute and exemplary technocrat. Wouldn’t you agree that this is an irreplaceable contribution from Najib to the nation?
