All in Rafizi’s head, Zahid on BN’s alleged late-night house visits

Using the late-night house visits accusation as an example, the home minister said he has "no information" about such activities during the by-election campaign as alleged by Rafizi.
However, he praised Rafizi for his intelligence.
"He is a very intelligent... among the most intelligent and capable in strategy and... speculate things that does not even exist.
"They are in his imagination. As an intelligent person, he always think badly of others," he told the media today when asked to comment on Rafizi's allegation.
Yesterday, Rafizi raised concern over BN's latest campaign tactics in Permatang Pauh – making house-to-house visits after 10pm.
The Pandan MP said such late-night visits raised suspicions among voters and wanted the Election Commission (EC) to look into the matter.
Rafizi said he received numerous complaints from the party grassroots that BN had switched its tactics and has been making late-night house calls instead of the usual ceramah, talks and gatherings.
"Such clandestine visits obviously begs the question if money, bribes or offering of incentives are taking place in exchange for votes in the polls next Thursday.
"The EC should monitor this closely to avoid violations in the Election Act," he had said.
The Permatang Pauh by-election ends this Thursday with voters going to the ballot box to elect their next MP after the seat fell vacant with the sodomy conviction of Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
His wife, PKR president Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, is contesting to keep the seat, a PKR stronghold, from falling into BN hands.
She is facing BN newcomer Suhaimi Sabudin and two others – Parti Rakyat Malaysia's (PRM) Azman Shah Othman, and the independent Salleh Isahak.
Zahid today said there was "strong wind of change" in the by-election this time and hoped the wind would continue until polling closes on Thursday.
"We see that many of the people here are fed up with what they had gone through, the rhetoric and having to entertain the constant dissatisfaction (of the opposition).
"It is clear that they paid a high price for 17 years."
Zahid said the campaign by the opposition was getting more aggressive with some trying to make provocations to make BN look bad.
He said BN did not pay anyone to start any provocations.
