Madness in MIC, perfected

MIC is in the throes of deep chaos and the video of Palanivel making disparaging remarks about his members is not doing him any favours.

mic palanivelThe art of madness can be perfected and displayed with such precision by only a select few. Madness is referred to as the chaos in mind leading to mindlessness. If you think such a term as “crazy” might surmise what I am trying to mean, I will not protest.
If you haven’t realised it and if it is still of interest to any person living or dead, Mr President (or is it former President) of MIC has beaten the record for maximum exposure to confirm his acts and words are those of one who has lost all sense and purpose.
I was reminded of these infamous words, “looks like me, sounds like me, but it is not me”, when Palanivel implied the recent video circulating was doctored. The short video shows “Palanivel” making disparaging remarks about MIC and its members.
If it is true that it is not what we think it is, our techies must be super good to have doctored the video to make it look and sound so real.
Embattled with his team members, it is amazing how Palanivel sports a cool and calm composure but then again it is this very ignoble trait that has earned him the wrath of his team members. Inaction and silence seem to be his strategy or is he just plain silly?
When we see “Palanivel” shooting from the hip, he is not thinking but in the process reveals a lot of information about himself that was not in the public domain. The fact that he is close to PKR was a needless piece of information which only damages his already sinking ship.
The first thing Palanivel needs to do is to sack his advisors, if there are any and employ someone who will see the current debacle from an objective point of view.
And he is constantly springing surprises with no beginning or end. His complaint against ROS does not seem to fit into the general scheme of things. What is Palani’s problem or issue? It looks like he himself is the problem and if he needed high handed intervention of the PM and DPM to mediate the internal problems in MIC, he has failed as a leader, or was he ever one?
If you are one of those who thinks ignorance is bliss, do not be fooled by this adage. It is bliss that will not last. Ignorance and complacency is the root cause of the current friction and fiasco in MIC. At the start of the new leadership, assumptions were aplenty leading to blind hope that little dissatisfactions within the party would dissipate.
If Beowulf (Old English Epic Poem written around 700AD) had just one protagonist in the form of Grendel, we now have many Grendels in MIC and do we need to wage a Trojan War like the Greeks waged against Troy to set things right?
Didn’t Reagan say, “Peace is not absence of conflict, rather it is the ability to handle conflict by peaceful means”.
