1MDB And The Flight Of The Albatros

Folks, dont forget that 1MDB has missed a payment of some RM2.0 billion. The debt has been given two (or three) extensions already by the Banks. I believe the last extenson was three months, given sometime in November 2014.  This means that RM2.0 billion should come due again soon. Will 1MDB be able to cough up the RM2.0 billion when it falls due again?

If 1MDB seeks another extension, will Bank Negara and the Banks agree? Baiknya bank-bank Malaysia. Bila sampai pinjaman rumah Cikgu Hassan, depa hantaq surat loyar, pi lelong terus non?

Well the news is out in Malaysian Insider that:

• Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) Mohd Hazem Abdul Rahman meletakkan jawatannya hari ini dan akan digantikan oleh Arul Kanda Kandasamy, pengurus bank dari Malaysia yang berpengkalan di Abu Dhabi, menurut sumber.
• Arul, 38, akan dilantik sebagai presiden kumpulan dan pengarah eksekutif 1MDB. Beliau kini Naib Presiden Eksekutif, Ketua Kumpulan Perbankan Pelaburan dan Ketua Bahagian Kewangan Korporat, bagi Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank sejak Julai 2008.

Alamak !! Yet another CEO of 1MDB has resigned. This time replaced by an Indian guy. Folks pay attention to this part :  Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank.   Who is Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank? 

I have a question : Is this new CEO (only 38 years old) fully hired by 1MDB, seconded fromAbu Dhabi Commercial Bank,  on "loan" from Abu Dhabi or what exactly? 

Just yesterday a very astute friend of mine sent me this message :

"Could it be that the flight that came from Dubai to Bangkok had others like Fei Low and gang and they did not want to fly to KL?    Meeting Thai PM was the excuse for Najib to be in Bangkok to meet these guys.  Probably on 1MDB and could include the Arab guy who foxed everyone.  Desperate measures to try to bring back the Cayman Island billions.  The go between could be Rasathi."

And now this news of the resignation of the 1MDB CEO and his replacement by a guy from the Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank  seems to raise more questions about the flight of our Albatros.

The plane did make a pit stop in London and Dubai - enough time for "Arab cleaning crew" to get on board.   A lot of crap to clean up on the plane - all the way to Bangkok.  The kway teow cook could have boarded the plane earlier - who knows. The executive jet should have a kway teow chef. 

Najib went to Bangkok from KL (on a separate flight) when the executive jet was also there from Dubai. Surely Najib did not spend his entire visit to Bangkok talking to the Thai PM about the floods. 

By the way another reader sent me a page from the Thai English newspaper The Bangkok Post dated 4th Jan 2015 which has no mention of Najib meeting the Thai PM the day before.  Thank you Rashid. :

I doubt the PM  met the Thai PM to discuss the floods. Or maybe he made a courtesy call. Who else did our PM meet in Bangkok? Any Abu Dhabi people?

The resignation of the 1MDB CEO so soon after the mysterious flight of our executive jet through London, Dubai and Bangkok and our PM's rendezvous there at the same time really raises even more questions. 

Folks this is not about the mysterious plane alone. The clock is running on 1MDB.
