BIGGEST JOKE! Noh Omar: ‘Tony Pua is AFRAID of me’

BIGGEST JOKE! Noh Omar: ‘Tony Pua is AFRAID of me’
KUALA LUMPUR - Selangor Umno liaison chairman Datuk Seri Noh Omar has welcomed the view of Petaling Jaya Utara Member of Parliament Tony Pua, who issued a statement that Pakatan Rakyat would remain comfortable ruling Selangor as long as Noh led Umno in the state.
According to Noh, the DAP parliamentarian was certainly grateful for his leadership in enabling Selangor state to be ruled by Pakatan Rakyat even longer.
“It is good then, as long as I am Selangor Umno liaison chief, Pakatan can rule the state even longer.
“However, for him (Tony) to come up with that statement, has he gotten tired of ruling Selangor? If I am to be replaced, perhaps Pakatan may even lose Selangor for good,” Noh said when contacted by The Rakyat Post today.
Noh also believed that Tony’s statement was due to the fact that he was worried about the Tanjong Karang MP’s capability to lead Selangor Umno.
“Tony’s implied message meant that I’m sure he’s afraid of me, he knows that I work quietly.
“If he was truly happy, I am sure he would not have made such a statement,” he said.
Earlier today, Tony said that Selangor Pakatan Rakyat is banking on what it deems as weak leaders from the Opposition in the state to continue having support from Selangor folks.
“As long as Datuk Noh Omar continues to hold the post of Selangor Umno head, and as long as Umno does not elect a leader more capable, smart and effective, PR is capable of achieving its goals which is to recover the support of Selangorians,” the Selangor DAP chairman said, citing the Menteri Besar crisis which had plagued the Opposition coalition before this and having almost brought an end to its administration in the state.
“In this crisis, we are lucky that our political enemy Umno’s divisiveness is weaker than ours,” Pua had said in his speech at the Selangor DAP’s annual convention in Petaling Jaya today. -http://www.therakyatpost.com
