Sex, drugs and the Kelantanese male

Health Minister says Kelantanese should not cross the border to Thailand for sex and drugs if they want to stay HIV-free.
golok 300KUALA LUMPUR: Health Minister S Subramaniam gave MP for Pasir Mas Nik Mohamad Abduh Nik Abd Aziz a healthy dose of good advice when he said the PAS leader had best advise males in Kelantan to stop crossing over to Thailand for their regular fix of drugs and sex.
Subramaniam said, “Pasir Mas has to go back and educate them (Kelantanese) so that they don’t go across the border and do naughty things.”
The minister said this is retaliation to an outlandish accusation by Nik Mohamad Abduh that the only reason Kelantan suffered from a high incidence of HIV and Aids was because sex and drugs were so readily available just across the border in Golok, Thailand.
Unwilling to let the matter rest, Subramaniam also said, “We can’t shift Kelantan to Johor. The border will always be there.”
Saying temptations were part of every day life, Subramaniam added that it was up to the individual to make smart choices.
Alternatively, he suggested that PAS, being an Islamist party that was proud of its religious viewpoints, do more to educate its people on HIV and Aids prevention.
