Form Five student kidnapped & molested by 4 masked men

BERA - A Form five student was traumatised after being abducted and molested by four masked men in an empty house in Kemayan near here, early yesterday morning.

In the incident at about 12.30am, the 15-year-old victim had woken up to go to the toilet outside the house.

Bera district police chief, DSP Zul Haizal Zainal Abidin, said the four masked men surrounded the victim immediately in front of the toilet door and one of them blindfolded and gagged her before fleeing with her on a motorcycle.

"The victim was taken to an empty house situated about 500 metres from her house before the four men molested her," he told reporters yesterday.

He said the student who was left alone in the empty house at about 4 am then walked to her aunt's house. The aunt lodged a report at the Bera police station at 8.08 am and the victim was sent to Klinik Kesihatan Bera for treatment.

Initial investigations revealed that the victim claimed she could not recognise the faces of the four men as they were wearing masks and as it was dark, furthermore she was blindfolded. – Bernama
