Controversial Sinar Harian columnist Ridhuan Tee Abdullah warned today that Selangor will be known as 'Selangor Darul Babi' if current Menteri Besar Abdul Khalid Ibrahim is removed from his position.
In his column titled 'PAS perlu bersama MB Selangor' (PAS must stay with Selangor MB), Ridhuan reminded PAS that the real enemy is not Umno, but the 'ultra-kiasu', which means any individual who is against Islam or Malays.
Ridhuan said one of the main aggravations that Khalid's detractors have against him is the lack of approval for a RM100 million integrated pig farm in the state.
"I am worried, if this project is approved, Selangor will be known as ‘darul babi’. Too many pig farms in Selangor, and this has caused discomfort among the people, especially the Muslims," he argued.
Ridhuan said PAS must take heed of the fact that the 'ultra kiasu' no longer know the difference between 'halal and haram'.
He said the 'ultra kiasu' are not serious in combating the culture of human rights and were defending the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community.
"The nudist camp is a challenge to PAS and Islam. Wearing short and skimpy clothes have become our culture. I believe if nudity is allowed, many will be nude, even on the streets," Ridhuan added.
He said PAS should have taken Khalid as its member, and keep the state government in its current form, having four PAS excos to back an independent menteri besar.
"I know there will be more burden for PAS. That is what you call doing work," he said.
He also asked PAS to stop blaming Umno for everything.
"Is Umno so bad? Stop the blaming culture. If Umno does good, praise. If Umno does bad, please reprimand. But the real enemy is not Umno, but the ultra kiasu," Ridhuan said. -M'kini
