Roziah to resign from the Selangor state Exco.
PETALING JAYA: After days of speculation, state Executive Councillor Rodziah Ismail has made it official she will stay with her party PKR, in solidarity against Selangor Menteri Besar Khalid Ibrahim who was sacked as a party member Saturday.
Rodziah said she resigned to fulfil the wishes of the people in GE13 when they gave Pakatan the mandate to govern Selangor.
This development now makes it final that the state Exco will only consist of Khalid himself and four PAS councillors with no representation from either PKR or DAP.
PKR and DAP lost all represention in the state Exco when Datuk Teng Chang Khim, V. Ganabatirau and Ean Yong Hian Wah from DAP and Elizabeth Wong, Dr Daroyah Alwi were sacked Tuesday for refusing to work with Khalid in the state’s administration.
The four remaining Exco are PAS councillors are Iskandar Samad, Sallehen Mukhyi, Halimah Ali and Ahmad Yunus.
