Bravo! Zam backs Bung for hailing Hitler

As Bung Moktar Radin drowns in a tidal wave of criticism over his Adolf Hitler tweet, a former minister has come to his rescue.

Oozing with anti-Semitism, Zainuddin Maidin suggested that the Umno MP's remarks could not have come at a better time.

And his blog posting on the issue was titled, "Bravo Bung Moktar! The 'Long Live Hitler' call was perfect timing."

"So I ask if Bung's remarks came spontaneously from his heart as heralding the holocaust of the Nazi regime which killed millions of Jews as a truth ahead of its time," he added.

The former information minister also claimed that Hitler had sensed the danger with regard to the Jews.

Zainuddin said it is now proven that the "remnants of Jews", made in reference to those who survived the holocaust, who formed the Zionist regime in Palestine with the blessings of the British have committed greater atrocities than Hitler.

"The West wants to close this because they are controlled by Jewish finance and the Zionist regime serves a bulwark against the rise of an Arab or Islamic regime.

"Hitler saw the dangers of the Jews which is now proven by their ability to control the world through manipulation, deceit, oppression, exploitation, murder and cruelty," he added.

100 killed in Israeli strikes

Zainuddin, who is popularly known as Zam, also noted that more than 100 Palestinians, including children, have perished in Gaza due to Israel’s ongoing military strikes.

In this context, he asked if Bung's remarks were wrong and not reflective of the violence perpetrated by the Zionist regime on Palestinian people.

"So is it proper for us to state 'Bravo Bung Moktar' even though he has been asked to apologise," he added.

Even after apologising following a reprimand from Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak, Bung himself questioned why the people were not upset about the issues in Palestine.

The Umno MP made international news when he tweeted "Well done... Bravo... Long Live Hitler" after Germany defeated Brazil 7-1 in the World Cup semifinal.
