2:35pm: Karpal Singh cremated after emotional farewell

The body of the late Karpal Singh has been cremated at the Batu Gantong Crematorium after a final farewell by thousands of mourners chanting his name. Family members spent some 30 minutes performing the final rites for him after Karpal's hearse reached the crematorium at about 1.35pm. Karpal's eldest son, Jagdeep Singh sternly requests the press and the public not to take pictures throughout the ritual. As a mark of respect, Kinitv stop recording as Karpal's body enters the furnace. The tiger was finaly put to rest at 2:35 pm.
